Know when a rank is provisional
Live boards can change while later runs arrive and score checks complete. A visible status should separate an in-progress rank from a final confirmed result.
Validation can examine impossible inputs, altered software, duplicate entries or connection anomalies. Rules should state the categories of review without publishing a blueprint for bypassing them.
03
Keep the review path useful
A score appeal should accept a run identifier, screenshot and concise explanation within a stated period. The response should name the relevant rule and explain whether another review is available.
Set a session limit independently of rank. Falling a place or missing a cut line is not a reason to exceed the time or amount chosen before play.
